Note, all
non-first year PaID coaches MUST complete an ASEP or NFHS course to continue
coaching at the high school level in the AAA/CIF SF SECTION.
Beginning January 1, 2009, ALL COACHES (BOTH PAID AND VOLUNTEER) WILL BE
REQUIRED TO POSSESS ASEP OR NFHS CERTIFICATION.

SF SECTION CSADA AWARDS WINNERS
One current and one former SF Section Athletic Directors were honored
at the recent California State Athletic Directors Association (CSADA)
conference in San Jose. Susan Saunders (pictured above), former AD at Washington HS,
was presented with the Jim Echols Award; while Burton HS AD Tatiana Kanakis received the Norm MacKenzie Award. Congratulations to both
Susan and Tatiana on their much deserved recognition and their service and
dedication to their schools' athletic programs and the San Francisco
Section! |
MIKE MENESES NAMED CIF MODEL COACH
Washington High School Wrestling coach Mike Meneses was honored by the
CIF as one of thirteen winners of their annual Model Coach award.

BASKETBALL UNIFORM UPDATE
Reminder that home basketball uniforms beginning in 2007-08 MUST be
white. Gold, grey, etc. will NOT be allowed for varsity games.
