The CIF San
Francisco Section champions and the CIF Oakland Section Champions
compete in postseason tournaments in boys’ soccer, girls’ soccer,
softball, and baseball.
Transbay
tournaments give the San Francisco and Oakland champions an
opportunity to share in the excitement of postseason play. Transbay
tournaments also give athletes from San Francisco and Oakland a
chance to bond, and the tournaments give coaches from two of the
CIF’s three City Sections an invaluable opportunity to meet each
other and forge close working relationships.
